25 years of Commercial Fishing...
For fifteen years Tim Malley ran a high seas longliner, fishing from the Grand Banks to the Gulf of Mexico. Sales Manager Mike Machado also spent a decade on the Banks before coming ashore to work in seafood.
The Scola family has a rich tradition that spans four generations of men working the docks in Boston, beginning with Tio Anthony lumping the old dory trawlers, through Paul R. Scola who founded R&P Seafood, and continuing today with sons Michael, Paul and Steven.
At Boston Sword and tuna we know there is no substitute for "hands on" managment of a seafood business. That's why we are out on the floor constantly, why we drive the trucks, pack the fish, and offload the boats ourselves.
